Cough Cough

aiya, i am down with cough again and hb still tempted me with a koi bubble tea earlier.. opps..
Just took a sip of a non drowsy medication and i hope it will not make me drowsy..

haiz, had a little squabble with hb this evening, but was glad we are both fine now.. not sure if he's aware of my change, in fact, i am much more patient compared to my singlehood days.. having a child indeed train my patience cos my wilber can be even more manja if i go by the hard method.. so i kinda being tame by him now.. how ironical..

Welcome to Wilber House!!

"Da-Da".. Here's my final product of Wilber love nest. There will be lots of photos coming up so be patient. My house is 99% done!! Where does the 1% go?? My fridge lo.. Cos we wanted a fridge that can open left side, hence we got to wait for 8 weeks for that to arrive.

Without further delay, let me present the photos of my lovely house.

Foyer

Standing in the foyer looking into my hall. I had a string curtain to act as my partition between my foyer and living hall. According to 风水角度, there should not have a "direct" flow from the main gate to foyer to living hall all the way to window. Hee hee.. and do you know which 风水师傅 say that?? That's Master Willy Liukartono aka my hubby.. hahaha..

See the "cow" or "dalmation" prints dustbin at a corner? cute?? Got it from bangkok last year. 终于可以派上用场了!!!

A closer view into my hall , behind the rain curtain.

Living Area

My Living hall, with my dinning area behind. Looks big?? naahhhh, ours only stands at 110 sq metre. It's damm small lor.. but luckily i did not get a bigger house, cos I really got a hard time cleaning my house. Aiya, i 葡萄酸啦.. Actual fact is that i damm broke to buy bigger house. hee hee

My sofa... Pretty big, but very very comfy. Wanted a smaller one, but I would not be able to rest my head. Saw this at the White collection in upper bukit timah, quite a good steal. Pay about 1k for this and it's leather... The little moon shape like sofa, is detechable. Can act as my little coffee table.

View behind my Sofa. My TV finally came in last week. My HB was so excited about it. We got a 40" TV Samsung with acrylic frame. He commented that this is the nicest outlook LCD TV in the market. It's true, but the functions okay only in my opinion. Hee hee.. Guess it's my professionalism.. keke

Opps, forget to mention. This TV is a gift from my MIL.. In case, she happen to see this blog of mine and start wondering how come her name is not being mentioned.. haha.. joking lah..

Dining Corner
Here's my dining area.. Very posh looking eh? The mirror plays an important part. Makes my whole dining and living hall appears much bigger than it is.

Again, according to Master Willy, we should place a single piece mirror in this area, so that our food can be "doubled" which signifies double fortune... If it's true, then I wish for doule winnings for my 4D and toto!!!! Fat hope I guess.. haha
Saw the few characters on the table?? Don't ask me what they means.. cos you might puke if you know the reason.. hee hee

Here's the view looking at the kitchen and my black glass cabinet in the living hall.

View into my MBR, dining table, and common toilet.

Kitchen

My Kitchen view.. Clean looking.. But i think i will have a hard time cleaning in future.

Common toilet

Passage Way
Passage way to my MBR.. My black Ace of heart door..

Pretty Chandelier in my room..

Welcome to Wilber room
Here's the view of my platform bed. I love my cutains exp the organza. It has a little shimmers on it and of cos, I have to pay slightly more for this. The night curtain is those "black out" type. I had this photo taken during the day, but my curtain block out all my sunshine.. I think I will be late for work in future.. cos i don't know when day breaks until i draw the curtains.. hahaha.. so lame..

My mini sound system at a corner of the platform

Walk in Wardrobe
View looking into my WIW.. I love my walk in wardrobe. Makes me feel like a princess.

I Got my WIW wardrobe from Alumix. Good quality!! Now i finally have my own WIW to put all my dressy dressy clothes.. Does it look like a changing room?

Notice my hangers?? Pretty aren't they?? I love them to bits.. Hang carry 200 of them all the way from Bangkok.. Goodness, can you imagine how much we carry back? Don't ask me how we did it cos I am amazed too..

My little dressing table. Gorgous isn't it??

More photos of my WIW

MBR Toilet
My master bedroom toilet.. it's impt to have a vanity top.. so that i can put all my facial wash, make up remover on it...

Finally.. after a long day of cleaning and photo taking.. Resting on our sofa, watching our favourite DVD is such a enjoyment.

By the way, did not take any photos of my third bedroom.. nothing much as it's still empty. most probably will be my mahjong or guest room tentively.

THE END

The final touch up

Finally, my house was being hand over by my contractor. Not too bad, everything went as planned and our reno cost is within our budget.

Went back to my house on sunday to 大扫除.. Bought all our cleaning stuff from the nearby shops.. Pails, detergent, mop, duster.... gosh.. i think i am becoming more and more auntie!!!

Cleaning BEGINS!!! hee hee, can see both of us are sooo happy and engergetic!!

As time pass by, look at my face..

That's the look of a gal who never do housework before!!! Grumpy face

These are my pretty curtains.

My Lovely dressing table.

Finally my dressing table is up..
As promised, Willy DIY a cool and "wild" dressing table for me.

Does this look like those "hollywood" backstage dressing table? hee hee..
We hand carry this mirror from Thailand and it costs us about S$50. We have been finding a unqiue mirror but those in singapore are too plain, if not too ex!! This is just nice.

The 2 rows of lights were bought from ikea during the sales.

Last but not least, the table is bought from ikea too, very cheap. Willy found it too plain, so went to spotlight and bought "animal skin" to wrap it up... Here's the overall effect.

Phase C of Reno

Finally Phase C of my reno..

Welcome to Willy and Summer's House..this is our foyer. We are planning to turn this into a small gallery corner. On the right is our shoe cabinets cum bombshelter wall feature.
we intend to have string curtains here to "divide" our foyer and living room.

Foyer spotlight-->bought from IKEA. Compliments from FIL

This is my living hall looking from my dining area. Nice isn't it? We are having a red wall feature to put our 40" Samsung TV (compliments from MIL) TV Console is Silver in colour but is covered by cardboard already. We had a cove.. saw the top 2 black thingy? that's my sound systems..

My Living hall lamp.. Looks posh right? Compliments from FIL again. It's from Rome and is made of limestone or watever stone.. not sure.. This cost 4-5k!!! FIL had kept this for us for many years already, so it's finally time that we use it! But har, I would prefer if he given us CASH instead.

From the side view. Sorry for the messiness yah?

From living hall view. We have another big cabinets here. We are having black glass cover and it's not up yet. Notice the little small boxes? those are for my wines and liquor storage.

My Dining corner. Wanted 1 piece full length mirror on the whole but the mirror was broken by the workers while transporting up via staircase. So in the end, we decided to transform tis to a "photo frame" alike mirror with those plush cushion around the border. Eating dinner is like "Quan Jia Fu" We will be "pushing"the dinning table to the mirror so that we can have a imaginary "super long" table!

This lighting outside my kichen was bought in IKEA too.. Very cheap, less than $15 i think.

View from outside Kitchen. We wanted an open concept kitchen but yet we do not want my cooking fumes to "dirty" our living hall. Hence we had done up a clear glass patition.

My Kitchen.. Very "white and pure" looking right? well, my HB wants the whole kitchen to be neat and white.. Most probably you will say it will dirty easily right? well, i doubt I will be cooking frequently.. however I agree this is a high maintainence kitchen.. HB keep saying this is a kitchen for show.
Again, lamp was given FIL. Bought from IKEA and did some modification to it.

View from living room into the passageway to my bedrooms.
Notice the black Ace of heart?? that's is the door to my MBR... cool right?? The bottom heart is actually the handle to my door. Design by my HB, creative right?

Opening the Ace of heart door is what u will see from outside. A nice chandelier.. I have not hang up my crystals on the chandelier yet. I am intending to put either a nice wall paper, if not put my wedding collage on this wall so that whenever I open the ace of heart door, I can see my blissful wedding photos.

Spot light along the passageway. Bought from IKEA too . $19

Door to my lovely MBR

Inside the room.. Now the background of my door is white. Looks exactly like Ace of heart poker card right?

A wider view inside my MBR. On the right is my parquet platform and on the right is my toilet..

View from WIW looking into my platform

A closer view of my MBR door

Still inside my MBR, looking from platform into my WIW.. Will ask alumix to install my alumix system and door.

WIW chandlier.. Black colour.. very mysterious looking right? This only cost $150

My MBR toilet: my vanity top with mirror. Toilet too small so hope my mirror will make toilet bigger.
